If you also type the same prompt to your AI agent, the program that does work for you on the computer, almost every day, you're not alone.

Where you are now

What if the problem isn't the agent? One day you remember every part, the next day you forget half, and the result changes with it. A prompt you rewrite each time comes out a little different each time, and so does the work.

And the good version lives in a note or an old chat, never where you need it.

And the first thing you forget when you're in a hurry is the limits, what the agent may not do without your OK: delete, send an email or change data.

Who's talking: Axel Jedlitschka

It all started with an income and expenses table I wanted to build for myself in Excel. I built a few versions of it, moved to Google Sheets, and from there it kept growing.

In the job of booking sales meetings by phone, I started building systems and automations, processes that run on their own, for business owners. I built a system for business forecast analysis, and it served the marketing and sales of the company I worked at very well. The same goes for a prompt: what works is written once, and improved in one place.

What to expect

  • Three keystrokes

Type a slash, two digits and what you need, and the agent gets the full prompt.

  • The same every time

Write an instruction once, and get it exactly like that on every run, without the half you forgot.

  • Limits you don't forget

Deleting, sending an email or changing data always wait for your OK in the chat, even when you're in a hurry.

  • Proof, not "done"

Get what actually ran and what it returned at the end, not a bare "done".

  • Help choosing

Ask the agent which ready instruction fits the task, and get one to three, with an example.

There's a way

A pasted prompt comes out a little different each time. A command is a prompt saved in a file, one document on your computer, that runs when you type a slash and its name. It is written once and stays the same, and every command like this has four parts.

  1. A complete prompt. Each command is one file with the whole prompt: the steps, the limits, and the shape of the answer.
  2. A name and a number. The name is easy to remember, like /fix-bug, and the number is fast to type, like /16. Both run the same prompt.
  3. Limits. The review commands report and change nothing, and a risky action, like deleting, sending an email or changing data, always waits for your OK in the chat.
  4. Proof.Every command that changes or checks something ends with the commands that ran and their real output, meaning what the computer actually returned.

And when you find a way to improve a command, you improve one file, and every run after that gets the improvement.

The way, in one kit

Command kit · a kit by Axel Jedlitschka

The prompt you type almost every day, as a ready command your agent gets the same way every time.

  • The script shows what it will do, and asks before writing anything
  • A file you already have with the same name goes to a timestamped backup first
  • At the end it checks its own work, and if anything is wrong, restores the previous state
  • 25 ready commands: plan, build, review, fix, document
  • A name and a number for each command: the name is easy to remember, the number fast to type
  • A skill, an instruction file the agent loads when needed, that knows every command and helps you choose
  • Cheat sheets in English, Hebrew and Spanish
  • 15 rules for a good command, and a checker for the commands you add yourself
  • How to use the same commands in Cursor, Codex and Gemini CLI
  • Install with one line in the terminal, the window where you type instructions to the computer, and it asks before writing

Questions?

How do I get the kit?

You leave your details, and a thank-you page opens right away with a button to download the kit.

Is it really free?

Yes. No credit card, and no part is held back for payment.

I'm not a programmer. Is this for me?

Yes. /plan-task, /research, /compare, /write-sop, /review-doc and /handoff-prompt don't touch code at all. And the install is one line in the terminal, bash install.sh, which shows what it will do and asks before writing anything.

I already have my own commands. Will this overwrite them?

No. If you have a file with the same name and different content, the script moves it to a timestamped backup first, and only then copies. And if anything in the install is wrong, it restores the previous state.

There are free lists with hundreds of commands. Why only 25?

Out of hundreds, people end up using a handful. These 25 cover the whole cycle of work, all with the same structure and the same limits.

My work is not that generic. Is this for me?

The commands are the skeleton, and what you type after them is your content. And if a command is missing, /25 builds it in a minute.

Will I get spam or phone calls?

Your details are used to send you the kit and to follow up on it. You only get marketing messages if you ticked the consent box, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your details.

Where do I get help?
