Time zone kit
- Where the difference comes from
- The time zone database, for each date
- In the week the difference changes
- The dates are flagged in advance
- A recurring meeting in the calendar
- By city, and right all year
If you work with a client or a partner in another city, and your recurring meeting moved by an hour, you're not the only one.
Where you are now
What if the problem isn't the math? The difference between two cities is not fixed. Israel and the United States change their clocks on different dates, and Argentina has no daylight saving time at all.
For a few weeks a year the difference is not the one you're used to. In those weeks a recurring meeting "moves by an hour", and someone waits alone on the video call.
Nobody remembers all these dates, and neither does your agent. Ask it, and it answers from memory, usually with the difference that holds most of the year.

Who's talking to you: Axel Jedlitschka
At one job I set sales meetings by phone, ran sales meetings and ran service meetings. That is also where I started building systems and automations, processes that run on their own, for business owners.
It all started with an income and expenses table I wanted to build for myself in Excel, and from there it kept growing. I built a system for business forecast analysis, and it served the marketing and sales of the company I worked at very well. A meeting set between two cities needs the same thing: an answer from the data, not from memory, because nobody remembers all the dates when the clocks move, and neither does your agent.

What to ask for
Type the meeting time once and see it in every city, with the date and the difference.
Know in advance the dates in the next 12 months when each difference changes, and which city changes its clocks.
Get one file that opens in any browser and works offline, in English, Hebrew and Spanish.
Know that the agent runs a script instead of doing math in its head, and always writes the date next to the time.
Know that a time that doesn't exist on the night the clock jumps is flagged, never computed silently.
There is a way
An AI agent is a program like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor that does work for you on your computer. The most important rule in the kit: set a recurring meeting by the organizer's city, never by a fixed difference. A fixed difference is right for part of the year; a city is right all year. Every time comes from the IANA time zone database, the list every operating system, browser and calendar uses, not from the agent's memory.
"IST" means Israel, India and Ireland, and "EST" is New York in winter only. So the script refuses abbreviations like these, and asks for a city.
The way, in one kit

Questions?
Leave your details, and a thank-you page opens right away with a button to download the kit. The page needs no install: unzip the file and double-click world-clock.html. For the agent there is one command in the terminal, the window where you type commands to your computer: from the unzipped folder, run install.sh.
Yes. No credit card, and no part is held back for payment.
Yes, when the event is set by city. But the calendar does not warn you ahead of time that a week is unusual, and if someone set the meeting by a fixed difference, it moves. The page shows you the dates in advance, and the skill makes sure the agent sets meetings by city.
Yes. The page is one file that loads nothing from outside and sends nothing anywhere. Your list is saved in the browser, and "Export JSON" saves a backup copy.
Not for the page. The script needs Python, the programming language it is written in, which usually comes with macOS and Linux. On Windows you also install the time zone database once, and the guide gives you the command.
The kit has an instruction block (AGENTS.md) for other agents: Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI. Copy it into the instructions file your agent reads.
Delete the convert-times folder from your skills folder and start a new session. The page you opened from the zip stays with you like any other file.
Your details are used to send you the kit and to follow up on it. Marketing messages are sent only if you ticked the consent box, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your details.
